The battle between Senior and Edlinger continued in Sunday’s race two, with the pair leading the pack into the opening lap. Senior immediately set about extending his lead, but a mistake on lap two saw him lose his advantage. The young Brit regrouped and pushed his KTM SX-E 5 to the limit, crossing the line with a huge 30-second lead. Claiming an epic overall home race win, Austin also took control of the red plate ahead of the final two rounds of the series.

Edlinger claimed another runner-up finish to earn second overall. Britain’s Oliver Webb clocked a third-place result in race two also ensured that he finished on the overall podium in front of the home crowd. The 2025 Junior e-Motocross Series resumes at the MXGP of Czech Republic on July 26-27 for rounds four and five.

Austin Senior: “Winning at home means everything. The crowd was amazing and it really helped me keep going. Winning overall and getting the red plate here – it doesn’t get much better than that so thank you to my family for all their support.”
